Doncaster Caravan Team Goes From Strength to Strength

With almost 1 million caravan owners in the UK, both static and touring, there is little wonder that a strong support network for repairs and maintenance is required.

One of the oldest and largest independent retailers of caravans, awnings and leisure accessories in the UK,  Yorkshire Caravans of Bawtry, has appointed leading technician Chrysovalantis Pappas, 32,  from Bessacarr, Doncaster to join its expanding team as Workshop Co-Ordinator.

“Chrys has a broad skill base and has gained extensive experience in the industry as a service engineer and also in his family construction business based in Cyprus,” said Andrew Whittaker Managing Director Yorkshire Caravans. “Chrys’s knowledge and leadership skills will ensure we continue to develop the aftercare side of the business and build on the exemplary reputation that we have.”

Chrys has attended the NCC training Academy, the UK trade body for tourer, motorhome, caravan holiday home and residential park home industries, and was winner of the Swift Academy Star for Technical Training in July of last year.

Chrys commented; “This has become a true vocation for me and it is a pleasure to support our customers in caring for their caravans. I shall look forward to working with and developing my team so that they, and the business, continue to prosper.”
