The nights are drawing in, the children have returned to school and the iconic St Leger festival has drawn to a close, albeit from behind closed doors. It can only mean one thing… it’s officially autumn!
As restrictions on every day life continue to change seemingly at a minute’s notice, you’ll be glad to hear that there are lots of businesses in Bawtry working hard to ensure you enjoy what you can safely!
Let the wedding bells ring
We know it’s been a disappointing year for couples that were planning on getting married this year and our two wedding venues – the Crown Hotel and Bawtry Hall – have some fabulous packages to make your day extra special and are seeing their diaries fill up fast for 2021 and beyond.
A little bit of heaven
Join this year’s Staycation craze and take to the open road with a motorhome from Premium Motorhomes or a caravan from Yorkshire Caravans of Bawtry and give the family a holiday
they’ll never forget. Or, if it’s just a night or weekend away from the chores and the children that’s needed, the Crown Hotel is a fantastic four star bolt hole offering lots of special ‘Stay’ packages whilst at Home
Farm and Lodge
you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of rural Austerfield just a 15-minute walk from Bawtry. Plus with a host of high quality shops, designer fashion boutiques, stylish bars and fantastic individual restaurants Bawtry is a great place to eat, drink, stay and shop!
Support local, shop safe, support Bawtry
All of our independent shops and businesses in the town have been hit hard by the events of the year so far and supporting your local economy has never been more important. Our small, family-run businesses have safety and their customers interests and well-being at the very heart of what they do and need your support now more than ever to secure their future, and the prosperity of our lovely town. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Dare we mention the ‘C’ word!
As we enter the last few months of 2020 thoughts will inevitably turn to Christmas. We normally like to make a big thing of Christmas in Bawtry but at this moment in time we’re not sure how things are really going to work out. We have Sunday 22 November penciled in for our annual Bawtry Christmas Time event, and many of our bars and restaurants are now taking booking for Christmas celebrations. Please keep a check on our Facebook page for all the latest information.
