Today they now have four stunning venues Ziniz in Bawtry, Rocco’s Italian Kitchen in Tickhill and The Herbalist & Dante’s Italian in Retford all delivering modern Tuscan cuisine in a buzzing, friendly & relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy. The Bawtry restaurant boasts the accolade of being quoted by The Times as being ‘One of the top ten Italian Restaurants in the UK’.
Husband & wife team Alex & Jules head up the group whilst their four children lead the way as the next generation of Calzini’s to join the industry. Eldest daughter Claudia is head of accounts and operations across the company, whilst daughter & son Sofia & Marco followed in Alex’s footsteps of becoming a chef and both now hold the prestigious positions of Head Chef at Dante’s Italian and Rocco’s Italian Kitchen respectively, since just 19 years old. Youngest child Rocco, who Rocco’s Italian Kitchen in Tickhill is named after, has just started his weekend job at Ziniz to initiate him into the family business.
Ziniz consistently search for the best quality products on the market, follow traditional methods of cooking passed down from family recipes and specially import many of their products direct from Italy in order to deliver the authentic tastes of Tuscany to our loyal customer base.
