A leading Yorkshire designer fashion boutique Robinsons of Bawtry hosted their 26th annual charity fashion show on Sunday 6th October 2019 at the hugely popular China Rose Cantonese Restaurant Bawtry and made a show-stopping return after taking a well-earned sabbatical in 2018.

A highlight of the social calendar the event showcased the boutiques Autumn/Winter collections from some of the leading designer brands including Balmain, Ralph Lauren, Moschino, Belstaff, Hugo Boss, True Religion, Emporio Armani and Mulberry bought to life by models, with amazingly choreographed scenes, from Blake Models and for the first time junior models strutted  the catwalk from The Dance Space Bawtry.

Silver glitter Showgirls greeted the guests who set the tone of glamour and glitz for the occasion with several guests deciding to boast glitter moustaches in memory of the boutique’s original owner Tony Robinson, who sadly passed away last year, and created the event in memory of his first wife who he lost to cancer.

“It was another hugely successful evening and we hope that once all the final monies pledged are in for all the fundraising activities, we can add significantly to the hundreds of thousands of pounds already raised for Yorkshire Cancer Research,” said Russell Jones Robinsons of Bawtry. “Thanks go to our sponsors Engaged Resource Ltd, the Powell family and Alexander Calder Financial plus the fabulous support received from Sound 2 Light, Rebecca Dickenson Hair,  Jennifer Law Make-up, Howard & Elaine Huntridge and Yorkshire Wildlife Park.  Special thanks too must go to all our loyal customers who give so generously every year and help us to create a lasting legacy.”

“Whilst the event is hosted to drive home a very serious message we made sure our guests had a lot of fun, with one lucky person winning a Mulberry handbag in the game of Heads and Tails, musical entertainment from electric violinist Alexandra and The Jerseys and myself and colleagues Andy and Ben Roberts even taking to the stage,” said Russell.
