During Lockdown 2.0 many businesses have had to adapt their retail methods to encompass online, postal and click & collect services including Bawtry’s fashion boutiques Bawtry Shoe Company, Incognito, Revolver Menswear, Robinsons & Yasmine of Bawtry. We are keeping everything crossed that they will be allowed to open their doors once again this Christmas. Our independent retailers have some amazing gifts perfect for family and friends, ranging from designer clothing to diamond jewellery and home accessories to artwork. Many of them, including our quality bars & restaurants, are offering gift vouchers too so that shopping, dining or overnight stays can be enjoyed in the New Year.
Ten years and counting!
It’s 10 years since current Womacks of Bawtry owner David Womack, took the then owner Annette Womack, no relation, out to lunch and ten hours later had bought the business! David had always aspired to own the shop that bore his name and ten years on, not only does it prove that dreams do come true it also proves that things happen for a reason! Now, displaying the most amazing shop front on the high street it is a constant source of wonderment at all times of the year, but never more so than at Christmas.
Happy Anniversary
Our congratulations go to Meliora Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms of Bawtry who has just celebrated their third anniversary! Husband and Wife team Leon and Kelly have established a superb, highly respected business and are looking forward to the New Year when they will be opening a new tile studio, in conjunction with Ca Pietra.
Celebrations have also been the order of the day for Lindsey Innes, owner of Tassel & Swag Bawtry, who has just celebrated her first year in business offering gorgeous home furnishings, fabrics and bespoke curtains & blinds.
Make a booking
Our array of individual bars and restaurants will be so pleased to be able to welcome you back over the festive period. Ziniz Restaurant and Wine Bar will be open every day, expect Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and will be asking for a £10 deposit per person upon booking. The Crown Hotel is hosting its ‘Bottomless Bubbles’ from Monday to Saturday, during December between 12noon and 8pm. Bookings must be made, and numbers per party will be subject to Government Guidance current at the time. Check out our website for details of all Bawtry’s wonderful establishments.
